After the coblation treatment is finished, ointment is applied and initial post operative care consists of frequent warm soaks and reapplication of ointment for 5 to 7 days.

Thereafter, creams and lotions are used until healing is complete. Makeup formulated for sensitive skin can be applied 1 week after treatment to camouflage residual redness.

As this redness gradually resolves, the new skin that forms appears more youthful and vibrant without the sallowness or blemishes associated with aging skin.

Most wrinkles are significantly improved or erradicated. This improvement continues for several months as collagen beneath the skin surface contracts, realigns and new collagen is formed.
